Standard Terms and Conditions of
Temporary Holiday Accommodation

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the agent in writing.

Deposit of 50% non refundable is required to secure your booking. If you book through Stayz and receive  instant confirmation, you will be charged the total booking amount upfront (100%).  Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the client acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation Policy

When a cancellation is made by a guest, booking fees are not refundable.

For bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to the arrival date the deposit is not refundable unless the property is successfully rebooked by the agent.

For bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival and for no shows - the full tariff will be incurred and charged to your credit card if it has not already been paid unless the property is successfully rebooked by the agent.

A cancellation fee of $110.00 applies to all cancellations.  This will be deducted from funds held and the balance refunded if the property is rebooked.  Any refund applicable because the property has been rebooked will be made after the dates of the original booked dates.  If the property is rebooked for only part of the original booking dates, then a pro-rata refund will be made at the agent's discretion.

Cancellation of the arrangement due to non-payment of the balance by the due date will result in the loss of all monies.

Guest Information & Obligations

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect the property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the agent in advance.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs, etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond/or additional payments.

Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenant’s responsibility during their stay.

Departure – the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:30 by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

Disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Pets are not allowed unless specified arrangements have been made in writing with the agent.

Loss – the agent takes no responsibility for the tenant/s personal property.

Security Deposit

A $400 Credit Card pre-authorisation is held on your credit card at or before check-in. This amount is held for 10 days and subject to the above conditions being met, will be released in full. This is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guest beyond those declared…etc.

Variations to these conditions above may only be made by prior arrangements with the agent in writing.

Your credit card details are securely stored on our system until after of your stay and may be charged for any addittional or outstanding tarriffs due or in the event of property damage or breakages and for any excess cleaning costs that may be incurred.
